“Kyoto Women” could be the stereotype of “Kyoto People”. They are well known as “be particular about things”.

They don’t get misled by minor trends or rumors, they have their own aesthetic sense, and evaluate many things.
They have the so-called “genuine article-oriented”.
“We want to provide information that brings them satisfaction”, with that thought in mind, is the reason why we created this (magazine) site.
There is always a fine craftsman in a good shop that is acknowledged by local Kyoto people.
We would like to introduce the breathing essence in Kyoto through our own filter.

It is said that there are around 1,500 bus stops in Kyoto.

Bus stop is the setting where Kyoto people live their daily lives, many who are living in Kyoto are exposed to this unique landscape.
The naming is also interesting, since the streets’ name that crosses each other are used just the way they are, and there are also various names that point out the neighboring buildings or indicate the nearby Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples.
In a sense, in the tourist city of Kyoto, bus stop can also be the “sign” that reflects the local “Kyoto people”.

We conduct a research, and find people who perform businesses set with their own policy and overflowing with originality within a radius of 500 meters where our feet can take us, using the bus stop as base point.
Then, we carefully interview those people, truly respect them, thinking “This person is amazing!”, and we would like to introduce what they produce (food, craft, service, etc.) through their own filters.
Please enjoy our very own best kept secret information about Kyoto that you won’t find anywhere else.
